Some graffiti found in Pompeii’s ruins:
Weep, you girls. My penis has given you up. Now it penetrates men’s behinds. Goodbye, wondrous femininity!
Restituta, take off your tunic, please, and show us your hairy privates.
I screwed the barmaid.
Apollinaris, the doctor of the emperor Titus, defecated well here.
I screwed a lot of girls here.
Sollemnes, you screw well!
Theophilus, don’t perform oral sex on girls against the city wall like a dog.
Nice to see nothing has changed.

There is a website with all of the graffiti

I love this.

March against Monsanto May 25th, 2013 (by HUMANity21century)

WHY DID TUMBLR NOT TELL ME ABOUT THIS? you guys are always on top of the game. but even though some of us didn’t know the fight still continues. so go to the website and find out what to do.

the media didn’t cover this. but over a million people marched. i know the fitblr community. and i know you guys care! so pass this on. it effect everyone!

obama passed a law protecting companies from the effect other people will have from GMOs. this means that although we have no knowledge of which foods are genetically modified we won’t be able to sue or take the companies to court when we get sick or cancer.

this is a big deal! so tumblr do what you do best!!

well I am one day to late, but this is till something everyone should watch

no. no. no. stop. people need to do more research before they jump on the “fuck gmo” band wagon. Do you really expect to feed the world on organically grown fucking beets and grass fed beef? NO!!!! there is not enough land and we are unable to feed the current population in this fashion. and guess what, we are still growing! we created gmo’s to be able to farm more efficiently, WE LITERALLY CANNOT FEED THE WHOLE WORLD WITH OUT THEM!! it takes three times more land to produce the same amount of certain crops without them. you should not hate on gmo’s!!! we have made HUGE strides with them and the practices used to farm them. hate the practices and the companies, not the farmers or the food. go visit a farm. not a 12 acre farm that grows three rows of a plethora of vegetables. those are great, especially to ceat good farming morals and instil good practices. but it’s not the future of farming. go visit a 100 acre corn and soy bean farm. they have the best intentions and they understand that the general public is fed by their products, they put the utmost care into making the best product and the MOST product they can. the kinds of gmo’s they grow are created because there is a demand for them, we eat corn flakes but most people can only pay a certain amount for food, so we made it so we could make more corn for cheap. the reason many families can even afford food is because of gmo’s. we put thousands of dollars into creating new and better gmo’s each year. we export a TON of these crops to the very countries that have banned them from being grown nationally! STOP GIVING GMO”S A BAD NAME. you hurt farmer’s who grow them incomes and thus deter people from joining the field. fewer farmers, less food, and suddenly you have food crises that happen in third world countries. yeah sure this may sound drastic and like i’ve had a sip of the monsanto koolaid or something, but no. i’ve taken classes. i have visited farms. farms that aim to feed more than 20 people. farms that face the growing prejudice from people who have been eating their products for years. gmo’s are the best answer for our future so far. we are using almost all of the world’s farm-able land. you are not going to find enough land to produce the grains and vegetables or fruits that this world is going to need. we are struggling even now. please stop and think about that. think about the costs of the alternatives ( the water, the land, the waste from produce that goes bad). put your energy into asking for smarter gmo’s and farming practices. be smarter about what you eat, lead a consumer rebellion in a smart way. gmo’s are perfectly able to make nutritional dishes, you just need to chose the right products. whole wheat not white (oh by the way wheat has been a gmo since humans started farming, they only planted the grains that gave them the biggest yield, we are just able to do it with machinery now). think!!! do some research on both sides! just be careful where you lash out. you could be doing more hurt than you think you are.

i understand what you are saying. i just believe that i have the right to know if GMOs are in my food. so that i can make the choice to eat those foods. and that if anything happens to me because of eating GMOs i have the right to take those companies to court. this has to do with having the right to know what is in my food and the effects that it will have on me so that i can make educated choices about what i eat. i feel the same way about the meat industry. american and canada are two of the only countries that don’t require GMO labeling.

the point is gmo labeling hurts our economy in ways we can’t even comprehend. and if we were to be honest every crop we grow is a gmo at this point.
